Software Engineer
Experienced Commissioning Engineer specializing in EC&I control systems, responsible for installing, testing, and optimizing PLC, SCADA, and DCS solutions while ensuring compliance with electrical standards and project schedules.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning of electrical and control system equipment, including PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and DCS platforms.
- Develop and execute test procedures, functional checks, and performance verification to meet design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and field technicians to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Produce detailed commissioning reports, as‑built documentation, and handover packages for client acceptance.
- Support start‑up activities, system integration, and troubleshooting during the operational phase.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering with 5+ years of commissioning experience in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and familiarity with SCADA/HMI tools such as Wonderware or Ignition.
- Strong knowledge of DCS architecture, electrical schematics, and relevant standards (IEC, NEC).
- Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software for reviewing and updating wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in remote or field environments.
