About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for SAP Cloud license offerings, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives.
- Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from prospecting and solution design to negotiation and closing, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and legal teams to shape pricing, packaging, and contractual terms that maximize profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine positioning and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a cross‑functional commercial team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial roles within the SaaS or cloud licensing domain, preferably with SAP or a major enterprise software vendor.
- Strong understanding of cloud licensing models, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Results‑driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
