Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and procurement of automation control hardware and software for coated products, driving continuous improvement, safety, and production efficiency using PLCs, HMIs, and VF drives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement hardware and software solutions for automation control system improvement projects.
- Oversee Level 01 PLCs, HMI systems, and VF drives across the department, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct failure analysis on automation control systems to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to enhance safety, productivity, and process reliability.
- Support plant operations and coordinate with Quality and IT departments to meet production targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience with PLC programming, HMI configuration, and VF drive integration.
- Strong analytical skills for failure analysis and root cause investigation.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work cross‑functionally.
