Lead multidisciplinary coastal projects, integrating engineering design, GIS analysis, and BIM workflows to deliver compliant, sustainable solutions while managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for coastal infrastructure, ensuring design, permitting, and construction phases meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers, providing regular status updates to senior leadership and clients.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and environmental engineers, to integrate GIS and BIM data into cohesive project plans.
- Engage with regulatory agencies, local governments, and community stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and maintain positive relationships.
- Oversee construction activities, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of progressive project management experience in coastal or shoreline projects.
- Proficiency in GIS, BIM (Revit, Navisworks), and project management software (Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local coastal regulations (e.g., NEPA, Section 404).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
