Data Analyst
Co‑op student supporting supply chain analytics and project assistance, analyzing contracting and purchasing data with SQL, Excel, and Power BI to deliver financial insights and drive operational improvements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze contracting, purchasing, and supply chain data to identify trends and cost drivers.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Excel models to calculate transaction costing and assess downstream financial impact.
- Create interactive Power BI dashboards that visualize key performance indicators for supply chain stakeholders.
- Assist project leads in planning, tracking, and reporting on supply chain initiatives and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a university program related to Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI with a strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the Edmonton area as needed.
