Skilled CNC Programmer/Operator proficient in 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining, Fanuc/Heidenhain controls, and PowerMill programming, with strong ability to read technical drawings and produce high‑quality components.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor 3‑axis and 5‑axis CNC machines to produce precision components.
- Program parts using Fanuc or Heidenhain control systems; create or modify CNC code as needed.
- Utilize PowerMill software for advanced toolpath generation when required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform in‑process inspections, maintain tight tolerances, and uphold quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow, troubleshoot issues, and meet delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience with both 3‑axis and 5‑axis CNC machining.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain control platforms.
- Familiarity with PowerMill or similar CAM software is a strong plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T.
- Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
