Software Engineer
CNC Programmer responsible for reading blueprints, creating and optimizing machine programs in Mastercam/Vericut, and collaborating with teams to enhance automation and machining flexibility while maintaining tight tolerances.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints to develop accurate CNC programs.
- Create and modify program instructions using Mastercam and Vericut or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
- Collaborate with engineering and machining teams to identify efficiencies, improve automation, and increase machining flexibility.
- Apply knowledge of tooling, machine capabilities, and industry standards to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality parts.
- Maintain documentation and update programming standards as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Mastercam and Vericut (or similar) with strong CAD/CAM skills.
- Strong blueprint reading and mechanical interpretation abilities.
- Solid understanding of tooling, machining processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
