About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine CNC programs for Fanuc-controlled machines, translating engineering drawings into precise tool paths.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software, primarily SolidWorks, to create and modify machining strategies.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements and tolerances.
- Optimize machining processes for speed, accuracy, and material utilization, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support machine setup, including tool changes, fixture alignment, and parameter configuration.
- Perform dimensional inspections of finished parts using precision measurement tools, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and machinists to resolve design and production issues.
Requirements
- Proven CNC programming experience, with a preference for Fanuc control systems.
- Strong CAD/CAM proficiency, especially SolidWorks.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Hands‑on experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
