CNC Programmer - LHM Technologies Inc.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to define optimal machining strategies.
• Develop, test, and verify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for 3‑, 4‑ and 5‑axis machines.
• Generate and edit G‑code to control tool paths, feeds, speeds, and cycles.
• Collaborate with production teams to set up machines, troubleshoot issues, and reduce cycle times.
• Continuously evaluate and improve machining processes for cost efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience programming CNC equipment, preferably on multi‑axis (including 5‑axis) machining centers.
• Strong proficiency with CAD/CAM packages (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, Fusion 360).
• Deep understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling selection, and process optimization.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
• Problem‑solving mindset with excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
