About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CNC programs for Fanuc-controlled machines, translating engineering drawings into efficient tool paths.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software, primarily SolidWorks, to design and simulate machining operations.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine tooling, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
- Optimize machining processes for speed, accuracy, and material utilization, implementing best practices and continuous improvement.
- Support machine setup, including tool changes, fixture alignment, and parameter configuration.
- Perform dimensional inspections of finished parts, using precision measurement tools to verify compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and machinists to resolve production issues and improve workflow.
Requirements
- Proven CNC programming experience, with a strong preference for Fanuc control systems.
- Hands‑on experience with CAD/CAM software, especially SolidWorks.
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, machining fundamentals, and process optimization.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
