CMDB Administrator - Operations & AI Agents Management - Hitachi Energy

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the CMDB, ensuring accurate configuration item data across the enterprise.
• Implement and monitor AI agents that automate routine configuration and compliance tasks.
• Coordinate with service owners and infrastructure teams to enforce ITIL change, incident, and problem management processes.
• Develop and maintain scripts (primarily Python) for data validation, bulk imports, and automated remediation.
• Provide Tier‑2 support for ServiceNow CMDB modules, including troubleshooting, user training, and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing CMDBs, preferably within ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and configuration management best practices.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Linux/Unix environments for automation tasks.
• Experience designing, deploying, or managing AI/ML‑based automation agents.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams.
