Senior Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments using leading technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Linux-based virtualization platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premises virtualization platforms.
- Design and enforce security, compliance, and high‑availability standards for all cloud services.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring using scripting and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize performance, cost, and scalability of cloud resources.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with proven expertise in AWS and Azure.
- Strong background in Linux administration, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripting (Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a federal environment.
