Cloud Support Engineer responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex AWS service issues for enterprise customers, leveraging deep knowledge of AWS, Linux, networking, and scripting to deliver rapid, high‑quality support.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across AWS services for enterprise and public‑sector customers, ensuring minimal impact on mission‑critical workloads.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, Security) to investigate root causes and implement permanent fixes.
- Provide proactive guidance and best‑practice recommendations to customers on architecture, performance, and security.
- Document solutions in internal knowledge bases and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, delivering 24/7 support coverage and incident response.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting cloud or large‑scale distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda) and related tooling.
- Expertise in Linux administration, networking concepts, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in scripting (Python or Bash) for automation and diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
