Solutions Architect
Design and implement secure, hybrid cloud solutions on AWS, automating infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while integrating DevSecOps best practices to support mission‑critical government workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable, secure hybrid cloud environments on AWS and on‑premise infrastructure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate provisioning with CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate security controls throughout the development lifecycle (DevSecOps), including vulnerability scanning, secret management, and compliance reporting.
- Containerize applications and manage orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to define standards, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating AWS‑based solutions, with hands‑on knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Solid scripting/programming skills in Python and deep familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing security controls, automated compliance, and vulnerability management within cloud pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
