Software Engineer
Senior Cloud Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure cloud-native applications using AWS, Python, and DevOps practices to support national security missions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure cloud-native services on AWS for defense and intelligence missions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code to ensure rapid, reliable delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate mission requirements into robust software solutions.
- Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks in accordance with TS/SCI and polygraph standards.
- Provide technical mentorship and code reviews to junior engineers.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of cloud software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM), and DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, threat modeling, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
- Valid TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
