Mid-level Cloud Security Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and validating secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a focus on IAM, security architecture, and infrastructure‑as‑code for mission‑critical intelligence applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring compliance with intelligence community security standards.
- Develop and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, role‑based access controls, and zero‑trust frameworks.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews of cloud‑based workloads and services.
- Automate security controls and configurations using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and intelligence stakeholders to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Security clearance eligible for intelligence community work.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent.
