Devops Engineer
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes to support backend and frontend applications for a leading pharmaceutical technology project.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS architectures, including VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, and Application Load Balancer.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and related IaC tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins) to enable continuous delivery of backend and frontend services.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes/EKS for high availability and fault tolerance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources to ensure performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS services and best‑practice architecture patterns.
- Proficiency in Terraform or similar infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
- Solid scripting/programming skills, preferably in Python or Bash.
- Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools in cloud environments.
