Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to optimize multi-cloud spending, implement FinOps practices, and drive cost-efficient cloud architectures across OCI, GCP, and Azure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cloud spending across multi-cloud environments (OCI, GCP, Azure) with full visibility and control
- Implement FinOps practices to track, analyze, and reduce cloud costs while maintaining performance
- Design and enforce cost allocation strategies, budgets, and governance policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities in infrastructure and application design
- Monitor cloud usage trends and recommend architectural improvements to minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with cost management best practices and reporting standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud cost optimization and FinOps methodologies
- Hands-on experience with OCI, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms
- Proficiency in cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Cost Management, Azure Cost Management)
- Strong understanding of cloud pricing models and resource utilization metrics
- Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) for cost-efficient infrastructure provisioning
