Devops Engineer
Drive the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for federal projects, leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform while ensuring compliance with Secret and TS clearance requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, secure cloud solutions on AWS, integrating Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance, conduct vulnerability assessments, and maintain Secret/TS clearance standards.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize resource utilization across multi‑region deployments.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices for internal and client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with hands‑on AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, plus experience with CI/CD tooling.
- Knowledge of federal security standards (FISMA, NIST) and experience maintaining Secret/TS clearance.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
