About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure network architectures for cloud‑based services.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms and threat‑intelligence feeds.
- Configure and manage Cisco routing, switching, and firewall devices to ensure high availability and compliance.
- Automate routine operational tasks and security controls with Python scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security best practices into all stages of the service lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in network security engineering, preferably in a cloud operations environment.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of Cisco networking, firewall technologies, and VPN solutions.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) for detection and incident response.
- Solid scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, or equivalent.
