Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Snowflake’s cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance data services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for Snowflake’s data platform.
- Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure as code, enabling repeatable and auditable deployments.
- Design and operate Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads, optimizing resource utilization and resilience.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and platform teams to enforce best practices, compliance, and cost‑optimization strategies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Solid scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑moving, experimental environment.
