QA Engineer
Design, deploy, and automate secure AWS and hybrid cloud environments for federal workloads, emphasizing compliance, mission continuity, and collaboration with security, networking, and data teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, provision, and maintain scalable AWS and hybrid infrastructure supporting mission‑critical federal applications.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to ensure repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Python, Bash) to streamline provisioning, configuration, and patch management.
- Integrate security and compliance controls (IAM, encryption, logging) into all automation workflows to meet federal standards.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and data engineering teams to troubleshoot incidents, improve performance, and ensure continuous availability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing AWS environments and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in Python (or Bash) for automation and orchestration.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and implementing security/compliance frameworks in cloud settings.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking concepts, and federal security requirements (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
