Cloud FinOps Analyst driving cost efficiency and transparency across cloud and AI spend, leveraging AWS/Azure, data analytics, and Python to optimize expenditures and mature FinOps practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor, manage, and optimize cloud and AI spend across AWS and Azure environments.
- Serve as the FinOps tooling subject‑matter expert, maintaining the core data platform and leading AI‑driven process reengineering.
- Analyze spend data and metrics to deliver actionable insights, cost‑saving recommendations, and forecasting models.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed FinOps best practices into development and operations workflows.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated alerts to ensure real‑time visibility of cloud expenditures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud FinOps or cloud cost management roles.
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS and Azure cost management tools and APIs.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and modeling.
- Experience designing and maintaining cost dashboards and automated reporting pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business teams.
