Software Engineer
Analyze and optimize cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and GCP, using FinOps best practices, scripting, and data visualization to drive cost efficiency and support Deloitte's OneCloud platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed cloud cost‑management designs and documentation.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on multi‑cloud spend, identifying optimization opportunities and implementing cost‑saving measures.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, SQL) for data extraction, transformation, and cost allocation.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed FinOps practices into the OneCloud platform lifecycle.
- Create dashboards and visual reports (Tableau, PowerBI) to communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of FinOps principles and experience managing costs in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience building financial dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams.
