Devops Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of Palo Alto Networks‑based cloud solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across hybrid environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Design and maintain secure, scalable network topologies, including VPN, SD‑WAN, and Zero Trust models.
- Automate deployment pipelines using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize firewall performance and security posture.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of cloud engineering experience with a focus on Palo Alto Networks products.
- Strong knowledge of networking, routing, and security concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
