Devops Engineer
Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and securing multi‑cloud infrastructure for federal defense missions, leveraging AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure resilient, compliant operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP for defense applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools, ensuring repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters, container registries, and CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, secure software delivery.
- Implement security controls, monitor compliance, and respond to incidents in accordance with DoD standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data, analytics, and AI services into the enterprise platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with hands‑on expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Strong understanding of security best practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (NIST, DoD).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross‑departmental projects.
