Devops Engineer
Design, build, and secure scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS GovCloud, ensuring federal compliance and operational excellence for regulated environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy secure, highly available AWS GovCloud environments using IaC tools such as Terraform.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure delivery.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (FedRAMP, DoD, etc.) through continuous monitoring and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
- Optimize cost, performance, and resilience of cloud workloads while adhering to strict security policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing and operating AWS GovCloud solutions.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
- Strong understanding of federal security frameworks and compliance best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
