Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining multi‑cloud environments (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP) for a federal agency, ensuring reliable operations, security, and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure (primary), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, availability, and security issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with application teams to define architecture, optimize resource usage, and enforce best‑practice cloud standards.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and compliance artifacts required for federal Public Trust clearance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI environments.
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking, security groups, IAM, and monitoring services in multi‑cloud contexts.
- Experience supporting mission‑critical applications for government or regulated industries.
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
