Devops Engineer
Cloud Engineer (AWS) responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud solutions using AWS services, Terraform, and Python, ensuring high availability and compliance for federal, commercial, and tribal clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python for deployment, monitoring, and remediation.
- Ensure security best practices, including IAM, VPC, and encryption across all cloud resources.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud architectures.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost and resource utilization.
Requirements
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in a cloud environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
