Security Engineer
Seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and secure CI/CD pipelines on AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Python, while automating security controls and ensuring compliance across cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, integrating automated security testing.
- Implement container orchestration and security best practices using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Automate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance reporting through scripting (Python) and security‑as‑code frameworks.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably on AWS.
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong background in CI/CD pipeline creation and security automation (SAST, DAST, IaC scanning).
- Hands‑on scripting experience, especially in Python or Bash.
- Understanding of security frameworks (CIS, NIST) and ability to implement compliance controls in cloud environments.
