Senior engineer building scalable cloud backends, managing infrastructure as code, and automating deployments on AWS using Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑availability backend services in Python on AWS.
- Implement and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain Terraform modules for reproducible infrastructure provisioning.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and cost.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in cloud environments.
- Proficient with AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
