About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end‑to‑end migration of legacy applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient application architectures using Kubernetes and containerization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Guide and mentor development teams on cloud best practices, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with NIH security and regulatory requirements throughout the migration lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading cloud application migration and modernization projects.
- Proficiency in AWS and Azure services, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with distributed teams.
- Experience with NIH or similar regulated environments is a plus.
