About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team responsible for the design, development, and operation of a mission‑critical clearing platform.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, including cloud migration to AWS, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and adoption of CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, traders, and risk specialists to translate business requirements into scalable, high‑performance solutions using Java and C++.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance through robust testing, monitoring, and incident‑response processes.
- Promote Agile practices, continuous improvement, and a culture of innovation across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or people‑management role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and C++ development for high‑throughput, low‑latency systems.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and proven ability to deliver complex projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
