About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise canal and water resource infrastructure works, including earthwork, lining, structures, distributaries, cross‑drainage, and embankments.
- Verify site levels, alignments, layouts, and measurements to ensure compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Manage day‑to‑day construction activities, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to maintain progress and quality.
- Implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and document findings to guarantee work meets safety standards and project requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, identify risks, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of site engineering experience in canal or water resource projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
