About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and BIM software.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control, and risk assessments to guarantee safety and performance.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, progress reports, and change orders using MS Project and other project management tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in civil construction and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of Queensland and Northern Territory construction codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
