About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance for the Coal Handling Plant, ensuring reliability and uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures, coordinating with maintenance teams and vendors.
- Implement process improvements to enhance plant efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and documentation.
- Collaborate with safety and environmental teams to uphold compliance standards.
- Support capital projects and equipment upgrades, providing technical input and cost estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of plant or mining mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a CHPP environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with industrial machinery and control systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
