About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end chiller design, sizing, and commissioning for large‑scale commercial and industrial projects.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the integration of HVAC systems with building automation and energy management platforms.
- Develop and enforce engineering standards, ensuring compliance with industry codes and sustainability goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, reduce operating costs, and achieve carbon reduction targets.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in chiller and HVAC engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of thermal system design, load calculations, and energy efficiency strategies.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP) and familiarity with building automation protocols.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, capable of guiding multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with senior stakeholders.
