About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI‑powered cyber‑defense and secure communications solutions.
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable cloud‑native platforms that meet stringent defence and government security standards.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, establishing best practices in software development, DevOps, and security testing.
- Collaborate with product, business, and stakeholder teams to translate mission requirements into robust technical specifications.
- Drive research and prototyping of advanced machine‑learning models for threat detection, anomaly analysis, and automated response.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on AI, cybersecurity, or secure networking in high‑assurance environments.
- Proven track record designing and delivering cloud‑based, mission‑critical systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
- Deep expertise in Python, machine‑learning frameworks, and modern DevOps toolchains (CI/CD, containerization, IaC).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and foster an innovative culture.
- Clear understanding of defence‑grade security requirements, compliance standards, and cryptographic protocols.
