About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with agency mission and strategic goals.
- Provide authoritative guidance on cloud adoption, security posture, and technology standards across all IT systems.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives to modernize legacy infrastructure, improve data governance, and enhance system resilience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps, budget priorities, and investment strategies.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for major agency projects, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and IT governance within a large, complex organization.
- Deep knowledge of security architecture, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
- Proven ability to translate business objectives into scalable, secure technology solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of influencing senior executives.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
