About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and scale AEOS, the orbital compute orchestration platform, ensuring robust scheduling, state reconciliation, and resource management across distributed spacecraft.
- Drive innovation in ISL‑aware DAG execution, integrating optical inter‑satellite links as first‑class schedulable resources alongside compute, power, and thermal budgets.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in developing GPU‑accelerated flight software, secure data pipelines, and resilient space‑based AI inference capabilities.
- Collaborate with defense, intelligence, and commercial partners to define product roadmaps, technical requirements, and performance benchmarks.
- Champion best practices in software engineering, continuous integration, and DevOps for space‑grade systems.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in distributed systems and real‑time scheduling, preferably in aerospace or high‑reliability domains.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
