About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end production engineering for aircraft manufacturing, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with design, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Lead cross‑functional projects, managing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet production targets.
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and FMECA analyses.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace or high‑precision manufacturing production engineering.
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of CAD tools, manufacturing processes, and quality systems (AS9100, ISO 9001).
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
