Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a university‑wide IT strategy that supports academic excellence, research innovation, and operational efficiency.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, including migration to cloud services, implementation of enterprise analytics, and modernization of legacy systems.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program to protect sensitive research data, student information, and institutional assets.
- Oversee IT governance, budgeting, and vendor management to ensure cost‑effective delivery of technology services.
- Collaborate with senior academic and administrative leaders to align technology solutions with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience (10+ years) in higher education or large‑scale research institutions, managing complex IT environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure), cybersecurity frameworks, and data analytics platforms.
- Track record of delivering successful digital transformation projects and managing multi‑disciplinary technology teams.
- Strong strategic planning, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
