About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the end‑to‑end engineering lifecycle for AWS data centre facilities, including power, cooling, networking, and server hardware.
- Partner with software, hardware, and supply‑chain teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and equipment.
- Develop and enforce operational standards, safety protocols, and reliability metrics for all data centre assets.
- Lead automation initiatives to improve provisioning, monitoring, and fault‑resolution processes.
- Mentor senior engineers, manage cross‑functional projects, and communicate technical strategy to leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in large‑scale data centre engineering or operations, preferably within a cloud‑service environment.
- Deep knowledge of power distribution, cooling systems, network infrastructure, and server hardware design.
- Proven track record of implementing automation and monitoring solutions to increase availability and efficiency.
- Strong leadership and project‑management skills, with the ability to influence multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS infrastructure services and related tooling.
