About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute sensory evaluation protocols for new product prototypes, ensuring robust panel recruitment and training.
- Apply instrumental techniques (e.g., GC‑MS, GC‑O, electronic nose) to quantify volatile and non‑volatile compounds linked to sensory perception.
- Integrate sensory data with analytical results using statistical and multivariate methods to identify key drivers of flavor and aroma.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Quality) to translate sensory insights into product development decisions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, highlighting actionable findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Degree in Sensory Science, Food Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sensory evaluation and instrumental analysis within a consumer goods or food & beverage environment.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, XLSTAT) and data visualization tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data to non‑technical audiences.
