About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and scale‑up of ceramic building materials, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, coordinating with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
- Drive sustainability efforts, integrating net‑zero strategies and life‑cycle assessment into product development.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in ceramic or advanced materials manufacturing.
- Proven track record in managing large, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and sustainability frameworks.
