The Role

Zignal is seeking a Capture Manager to drive growth across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Special Operations, Combatant Commands, and federal civilian agencies.

This is not a traditional business development role focused on responding to existing requirements. We are looking for a mission-oriented capture professional who can identify emerging operational needs, shape opportunities before formal requirements exist, and position Zignal and its partner ecosystem as a differentiated solution provider.

The ideal candidate understands intelligence workflows, publicly available intelligence, operational planning, influence and information environments, mission command, and the growing role of AI in intelligence production and decision support.

This individual will work closely with Growth, Revenue, Product, Engineering, and Strategic Partners to identify opportunities, shape customer understanding, build capture strategies, and position Zignal for long-term success across complex national security pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

Mission & Opportunity Development

• Identify and qualify opportunities across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Combatant Commands, Special Operations Forces, and federal civilian agencies.
• Develop deep understanding of customer missions, operational challenges, and emerging intelligence requirements.
• Identify opportunities where publicly available information, OSINT, AI-enabled intelligence workflows, narrative intelligence, media intelligence, and fused intelligence solutions can create mission advantage.
• Shape opportunities prior to formal acquisition activities by helping customers understand potential approaches, architectures, and operational outcomes.

Capture Strategy & Pursuit Leadership

• Develop and execute capture strategies that position Zignal and its partners for competitive advantage.
• Build account plans, stakeholder maps, win strategies, and competitive assessments for priority pursuits.
• Lead qualification, gate reviews, pursuit planning, and capture execution across the opportunity lifecycle.
