About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems for plant facilities and pipelines, including equipment sizing, selection, and detailed piping layouts.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for project deliverables.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to schedule and execute mechanical design work requests.
- Ensure all designs meet safety standards, legal requirements, and industry mechanical engineering codes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ongoing plant operations and new projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design for industrial or pulp & paper facilities.
- Strong knowledge of piping design, equipment sizing, and mechanical engineering standards.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
