Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and validation of automotive camera and vision systems, leveraging image processing, machine vision, and embedded C/C++ to deliver high‑performance, safety‑critical solutions for advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate camera and vision algorithms for automotive applications using OpenCV and custom C/C++ code.
- Integrate vision modules with vehicle ECUs and ROS-based middleware, ensuring real‑time performance and compliance with automotive safety standards.
- Perform camera calibration, distortion correction, and multi‑sensor fusion to support perception pipelines.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define sensor specifications, perform hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing, and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Document design decisions, test plans, and results; contribute to technical reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive camera/vision system development.
- Proficiency in C/C++, OpenCV, and ROS; experience with embedded Linux is a plus.
- Strong understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and calibration techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
