Role Overview
As a C2 solution architect, you'll translate customer IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting stands up, wires, deploys, and sustains the full hardware-and-software stack behind a command-and-control capability. This is a hands-on, client-facing engineering role that bridges traditional system administration, communications systems, and modern cloud/virtualization, in a forward operating environment.
What You Will Do
You'll work with us to transform the way Air Operations Centers (AOC) and DoW uses technology including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You'll also mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow's solutions architects.

Requirements
- Experience as a system administrator supporting Windows or Linux servers, including build, configuration, patching, and sustainment
- Experience physically wiring, cabling, and integrating servers and computing systems, including reading and interpreting wiring schematics and rack or one-line diagrams
- Experience operating and troubleshooting communications systems, including military radios, such as load, program, and troubleshoot, and commercial communications equipment
- Experience deploying software applications to a virtual machine or cloud environment, including hands-on work with AWS and VMware ESXi
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes, for application deployment
- Experience applying general security compliance practices, such as RMF, STIGs, hardening, and vulnerability remediation, to fielded systems
- Experience standing up, configuring, and maintaining a tactical or deployable data center
- Ability to communicate directly with clients and stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics in lieu of a degree
