Lead data‑driven initiatives as a Business Systems Data Scientist, designing, testing, and deploying AI‑enabled analytics solutions on AWS, leveraging Python, SQL, and machine learning to transform complex transportation data into actionable insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operationalize AI and analytics solutions for parts inventory, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data models and predictive algorithms.
- Document model logic, performance metrics, and deployment procedures for reproducibility and compliance.
- Visualize insights and performance dashboards using Tableau or Power BI for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and cloud architecture.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools and version control (Git).
